Pride Whanganui

Pride Whanganui Trust is a volunteer-run organisation that supports Whanganui's LGBTQ+ community (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, takatāpui, queer, intersex).

They offer various resources and services, including:

• Safe space drop-in centre with resources, Wi-Fi, and a community fridge.
• Youth groups for different age ranges.
• Support groups for LGBTQ+ people, parents/caregivers, and older adults.
• Social events to meet other LGBTQ+ people.
• Training and support for organisations that want to better serve LGBTQ+ people.
• Advocacy for LGBTQ+ rights.
